Awards & Recognition
A little celebration of the journey so far…
What began as a love of painting has grown into something I never quite imagined.
Rebsey Art Studio was built around a simple idea: creating artwork that brings a little colour, joy and connection into everyday life. From quiet, atmospheric woodland paintings to playful, personality-filled designs, every piece starts with something that inspires me.
Along the way, both my artwork and my journey as a small business owner have received some wonderful recognition.
Each award, nomination and milestone means so much, not just for the achievement itself, but for the people who have supported, encouraged and believed in my work.
Artistic Awards
People’s Choice Award - Corsham Gallery, 2026
The Quiet I Kept
One of my proudest artistic moments was receiving the People’s Choice Award at Corsham Gallery’s Summer Open Exhibition.
The Quiet I Kept is part of my atmospheric woodland collection, exploring the stillness, emotion and sense of escape that I find in nature.
Knowing that visitors connected with this painting enough to vote for it was incredibly special. Art is such a personal thing, both to create and to experience, and this award reminded me why I love sharing my work.
Third Prize — Royal Commonwealth Society Bath, 44AD, 2026
My original watercolour painting Learning to Glow Again was awarded third prize in the RCS 44AD exhibition.
A small painting with a meaningful title, this piece captures the quiet beauty and hope that often find their way into my woodland artwork.
Having my work recognised by others was a wonderful encouragement to keep exploring my artistic style and creating paintings that tell their own stories.
Business Awards & Recognition
Small Business Sunday (#SBS) Winner — 2026
In October 2026, Rebsey Art Studio was selected as a winner of Small Business Sunday (#SBS), the initiative founded by entrepreneur Theo Paphitis to celebrate and support independent businesses.
Being recognised as part of this wonderful small business community was an exciting milestone.
Building a creative business involves so much more than painting, and recognition like this is a lovely reminder of how far Rebsey Art Studio has come.
The Female Business Awards — Double Finalist, 2026
In 2026, I was absolutely delighted to be named a finalist in two categories at The Female Business Awards:
● New Business of the Year
● Creative Business of the Year
To have Rebsey Art Studio recognised in both categories was a real honour, particularly alongside so many talented and inspiring women building their own businesses.
Although I didn’t bring home an award, the experience was a wonderful celebration of female entrepreneurship, creativity and the determination it takes to turn an idea into something real.
Being shortlisted twice was something I’ll always be proud of.
