About
Becky Groves - Artist & Founder
Hi, I’m Becky — the artist behind Rebsey Art Studio, living in lovely Wiltshire with my husband, our two brilliant boys (8 and 4), and Jasper the dog. Life is full-on and loud, and somewhere in the chaos, I discovered watercolours… and a bit of calm.
I create nature-inspired watercolour paintings and illustrated designs that are rooted in quiet moments, shifting seasons, and the feeling of calm that comes from slowing down and noticing what’s around us.
My journey with art began early. One of my clearest childhood memories is sitting at the kitchen table with my mum, folding paper and making butterfly prints. Those small, creative moments — surrounded by family — planted a seed that never really left me.
Life, however, has a way of pulling us in different directions. As a teenager, I lived with ME, and during that time creativity became more than a hobby — it gave me focus, purpose, and something to hold onto. Painting helped me reconnect with myself during quieter, more challenging chapters.
Now, through Rebsey Art Studio, I share that joy with others. My work is inspired by nature, and the quiet moments it brings. It’s my way of “getting my pink back” — reclaiming colour and creativity after the whirlwind early years of motherhood.
(Flamingos lose their pink colour while raising their young, because they give so much of themselves — something many parents can relate to.)
My paintings are influenced by woodland paths, open meadows, Nordic landscapes, and everyday walks through the countryside — often inspired by places close to home in Wiltshire. Working primarily in watercolour allows for softness, movement, and moments of unpredictability, which I embrace as part of the process.
Alongside original artwork, Rebsey Art Studio also brings illustrated designs to life through thoughtfully made products — including prints, paper goods, homewares, and seasonal collections. Sustainability matters deeply to me, and I work with UK-based suppliers wherever possible, choosing eco-conscious materials and processes.
Whether you’re here as a collector, a customer, or simply to explore, I’m so glad you’ve found your way to my studio.
Thank you for being part of this journey.

The Studio Team
Rebsey Art Studio may be led by me, but it’s always been supported by family.
From childhood kitchen-table creativity to art fairs and exhibitions, my family have been my biggest champions — encouraging, practical, and quietly brilliant behind the scenes.
Lizzie (Mum) — Head of Chat & Community
My mum has been supporting my creativity since the very beginning — from folding paper butterflies at the kitchen table to cheering me on at markets today. She’s my go-to sounding board, chief morale booster, and the warm, friendly face behind so many conversations. If you’ve ever felt truly welcomed by Rebsey Art Studio, chances are that warmth started with her.
Chip — Chief Encouragement Officer (CEO)
Chip, my eldest son, takes his role very seriously. Whether it’s celebrating finished paintings, reminding me why my work matters, or offering unwavering belief on days when confidence wobbles, his encouragement is constant (and wonderfully enthusiastic). Every studio needs a CEO who believes in the vision — and I’m lucky to have mine at home.
Logistics & Distribution Team
My husband, my dad, and my youngest son, Teddy, form the unofficial logistics department — expertly loading cars for art fairs, handling deliveries, and knowing exactly how to pack everything so nothing bends, spills, or slides. Their calm efficiency behind the scenes makes it possible for me to focus on creating — and for Rebsey Art Studio to show up out in the world.
Teddy also brings a different kind of support — a whirlwind of curiosity and laughter that has become part of the Rebsey Art Studio experience at fairs. He reminds me that creativity should be joyful, imperfect, and shared.
Rebsey Art Studio is, at its heart, a family effort — built on support, encouragement, and a shared belief in creativity.
