About me
Hi, I’m Becky!
I’m an artist living in beautiful Wiltshire with my husband and our two amazing boys, aged 8 and 4 (and our dog, Jasper!). Life is wonderfully busy, full of noise, laughter, and endless questions – and it’s in my search for a little peace and calm that I discovered a love for painting with watercolours.
My journey with art started young; I still remember sitting at the kitchen table with my mum, folding paper to make butterfly prints. Those early moments, surrounded by family, sparked a creative curiosity that’s stayed with me ever since. Today, my parents and wider family remain some of my biggest supporters.
As a teenager, I lived with ME, and during that time, arts and crafts became more than just a pastime – they gave me purpose, kept my mind busy, and helped me get out of bed each day.
Now, painting is part of my story of “getting my pink back.” (Did you know flamingos lose their pink colour while raising their young because they give so much of themselves?) As my boys grow older, I’m rediscovering and reclaiming my own colour, creativity, and joy.
Whenever I get the chance, you’ll find me in my ‘studio’ (often with two small helpers whose attention doesn’t last very long!), picking up my paintbrush and capturing a little bit of peace onto paper.
Thank you for being here and for sharing in this journey with me.
