Wheely Quackers

Wheels Quackers is inspired motherhood, and the wonderfully chaotic business of family life.

Because sometimes it really does feel like everyone is hurtling forwards at full speed while you’re trying to keep the wheels on.

At the centre of the collection is a little duckling on a skateboard; small, fearless and completely committed to the ride. For me, it captures so much of childhood: the energy, confidence, chaos and determination to keep going, preferably at a speed that makes the grown-ups slightly nervous.

But it’s also about motherhood… trying to keep up, hold everything together, enjoy the moment and accept that life with children was probably never going to be particularly orderly.

Created from my original artwork, Wheely Quackers celebrates the funny, imperfect and completely brilliant madness of family life.

A little reminder that when life goes wheely quackers, sometimes the best thing you can do is roll with it.
